FARM WALK & SALES VIEWING DAY AT CORRIMONY FARMS – MAY 16TH

Join us as Corrimony Farms, who you may recognise from the BBC's 'This Farming Life' show, host a farm walk and sales viewing day. Situated in the Scottish Highlands 25 miles west of Inverness. This upland farm is home to 150 Stabiliser cows and 750 Lleyn and Highlander cross-breeding ewes. Since the majority of Corrimony Farms cover rough pastures, David Girvan has made the most of the in-bye grass and forage crops to help cut costs and boost outputs. Incorporating rotational grazing and no-fence collars into the system has made it possible to manage grassland more effectively on an upland system.
The farm walk is being held on Tuesday the 16th of May and will commence at 11 am. After taking a walk around the herd we will be showing the breeding stock which is for sale. The stock on offer includes Stabiliser breeding heifers, 1 Stabiliser mature bull, 2 two-year-old Bulls, and 10 young Stabiliser breeding bulls. These are high health stock, Johnes level 2, BVD accredited and vaccinated.
Following the walk lunch, tea and coffee will be provided. We expect to finish around 14.30 pm. Please sign up at the bottom of the page so we can cater accordingly.
